Christian Education Ministry

The Rainbow Wall welcomes all our friends to Sunday School!
“Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find;

knock, and the door will be opened for you.
For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds,
and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”  ~ Matthew 7:7-8

What Cross of Life is all about

Learning about God’s amazing love happens in many ways in the Sunday School classroom.

You might find yourself sharing in a sitting circle on your classroom floor, acting out the Bible story with costumes and props, or learning through hands-on activities.

Cross of Life Sunday School classes enjoy the use of a specially outfitted Art Room. We integrate technology into the classrooms through the use of Smart Boards, and each classroom has a WiFi connection.

Our Sunday School curriculum is called SPARK. It is lectionary-based, which means the Bible story and activities in Sunday School match the Bible story, children’s message and the sermon in Worship. We like that!

The Sunday School staff is made up of teams of parent volunteers who rotate the teaching responsibility. They gather regularly throughout the school year for enrichment and planning and are dedicated to fostering your child's relationship with God.
