Women's Retreat at Lutherdale: May 13-14
All COL and CTK women 21 and older were invited to join us for our Spring Retreat: “Honoring Our Stories.” It was held Friday, May 13, to Saturday, May 14, at the DeBack Family Lodge at Lutherdale Camp and Retreat Center in Elkhorn, Wis. We listened to stories of inspiring women from the Bible and our own communities, enjoyed an evening of painting and wine with a workshop led by Uptown Art, and learned from a fantastic guest presenter, Ruth Schmidt. As the Associate in Ministry at Grace Lutheran Church in Grafton, Ruth is an amazing woman whose life has been deeply shaped by her faith journey. We appreciate that this talented educator, writer, and worship leader spoke to us about her life story, and how God wants to speak into the stories of OUR lives!
